Check out Where Chicago this month where we join 4 other “fave local destinations.” Nothing says comfort food like meatloaf and nobody does the stuff like The Meatloaf Bakery. The cute storefront whips up eight different varieties… but we can’t seem to order anything but the awesome No Buns About It Burger Loaf. We were thrilled last year to be named in this prestigious guide.  And now, we’ve made it again for 2012 in Best of Bakeries (Lincoln Park/Old Town). “For other stomach-filling options… try the heartwarming Meatloaf Bakery where meatloaf and mashed potatoes are crafted into all manner of dishes, such as a cupcake-shaped loaf (with mashed potato icing). Don’t let the quirky titles fool you as this may be some of the best and most gratifying food in town.” 

Others may try to imitate us, but nobody does it like we do.  So come and taste the first and only meatloaf cupcake at none other than The Meatloaf Bakery.

NPR has a field day with our “meat cupcakes.”  Check it out and come enjoy some yourself.  This weekend we’ll be featuring Chicken Shish Ka Loaf - a delicious blend of chicken, red onion and garlic.  Or try a dozen Loafies.  Perfect for a festive get-together.
