Heating Tips

The Meatloaf Bakery cupcakes are so good; you’ve probably already had your first bite. But just in case you want to treat yourself to a hot meal, here are some helpful hints.

LOAFIES

Conventional Oven: Preheat your oven to 400° F. Place Loafies on a foil-lined baking sheet. Do not cover. Heat in the oven for 10-12 minutes or until filling is hot and shells are nice and crispy.
Microwave: Oh please, no! The pastry shells don’t fare well.

CUPCAKES (conventional oven or toaster oven*)

1. Preheat your oven to 375° F.

2. Carefully remove the cupcake(s) from the paper container and place on a foil-lined baking sheet. A dab of cooking spray helps too.

3. Heat the cupcake(s) in the oven for about 20–25 minutes or until hot in the center. Remember, they’re fully cooked — you just need to get them hot.

CUPCAKES (microwave oven):

1. Heat the cupcake(s) in the microwave-safe paperboard container we provide or place it on a microwave-safe plate.

2. Zap the cupcake(s) on high power for about 3 – 4 minutes. In a hurry? Cut the cupcake(s) in half and you’re looking at 2 minutes, tops.

*For best results, we recommend using a conventional or toaster oven to heat our meatloaf cupcakes. The taste and look you get from heating them the old fashioned way can’t be beat.

FULL-SIZE LOAFS, CAKES, PIES AND TARTS

Conventional Oven Only Please − These special works of art need a cozy oven to bring out their best qualities.

1. Preheat your oven to 375° F.

2. Place the loaf or tart on a foil-lined baking sheet. A dab of cooking spray helps too. Pies and cakes are sold on oven-safe pans so no need to transfer them.

3. Heat the tarts for about 20 minutes; loafs and pies about 30 minutes; and cakes about 40 minutes. (No Buns About It cake takes about 50 minutes. Cover after 40 minutes or so to keep potatoes golden. ) When an instant read thermometer reaches 165° F — you’re good to go.

MORE GOOD STUFF - SIDES DISHES (conventional oven)

Preheat your oven to 375°F. Transfer your side dish to an appropriate ovensafe pan. MACnificent Pasta cupcakes and small servings of mashed potatoes or veggies take about 15-20 minutes to heat through; large servings take closer to 25-30 minutes.

MORE GOOD STUFF - SIDE DISHES (microwave oven)

Our paperboard containers are microwave-safe. So pop them into the microwave on high power. MACnificent Pasta cupcakes and small servings of mashed potatoes or veggies take about 2 minutes to heat through; large servings take closer to 4-5 minutes. For best results, give them a stir after the first 3 minutes.
